hmm...there goes the first term of year 12. can't say i enjoyed it every moment, but one can only hope for better days. don't think i've ever gotten such low scores on tests for any subjects now that i've taken AS physics. it even beats the dreaded vocab tests couturier used to dice at me back in GCSE, and the ominous words that creeps outwards from her mouth; "lunchtime ben retest". now i truly understand what they meant when the ex-yr 12s said to the ex-yr 11s (the present yr 12s); "GCSE is a joke!! wait till u get to next year!". yes, i have felt the overwhemling workload that has reduced me to crying in public and attracting large crowds of spectators pointing and laughing and picture taking, the justin-gatlin-asafa-powell-tim-montgomery (though accused of taking stimulants) pace of learning that has disintegrated my brain into ashes, and the expectancy of independant study that has come crashing down upon my frail shoulders and spine, causing my scoliosis to suffer tenfold and rendering me immobile. all jokes aside, this start of the school year has been to say the least, incrediably fun, albiet incrediably busy. met some new friends, seen some pretty interesting things go around, enjoyed free periods where you actually try to do work but the breathtaking temptation of lazing around and talking with friends just seeps into the mind and defies all motivation to educate oneself to improve ones future. its been a fun 8 weeks of school days, and a hell lot of work. though now ive experienced the tide, im sure i will be able to brace myself better in the coming term (im talking about the schoolwork btw). its been a hectic and fun 1st term, inside and outside of school.
in a nutshell, its been crazy.
but im not out of my mind yet.
